Not quite a traditional Newport Mansion- but we are delighted to be the architects for the Telephone Building. Built in the 1890s the Telephone Building is directly across from Newport's Historic Trinity Church. Our clients envision turning the second floor into a loft-like apartment for their family. We began by measuring the building and carefully assessing the structure. Next, we worked through a number of approaches and schematic drawings and met repeatedly with our clients to evaluate the different architectural approaches and the estimated construction costs. Then a complete set of plans and a building permit. Construction is underway!
