Andrew Baer started in construction as a carpenter, moved into construction management and eventually started his own design / build company in New York. Highlights of his career including managing the residential development of a privately owned island in the British West Indies, renovating historic homes in the Hudson Valley, and building affordable housing in East Harlem and the South Bronx. He has conducted workshops for the New York Landmarks Conservancy, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and YouthBuild USA.
Andrew is actively involved in his community as a volunteer, board member, and consultant to environmental groups. He is an avid reader, an eager fisherman, and an enthusiastic kayaker.
